Hi there,
Are you still looking to get rid of this piano?  This looks just like the one my grandmother had.  She gave me a lesson every Saturday afternoon, until she died suddenly, due to symptoms from Acrofacial dysostosis – ambiguous genitalia.  It’s an extremely rare condition that can cause limb defects, abnormal development of facial bones, and ambiguous genitalia.  She left the piano to my Aunt, who currently lives in Overland Park.  I really loved that piano.  And, my Grandma.  Please let me know if you might consider selling the piano to me.

Thanks,
RP

Yes, it is still available. My understanding from the folks i bought it from they were original owners. From my research i believe it more likely was one she learned on and later inherited. There is little to no were on the felts. Seems to sound good i am told has nice key action. i don’t play. my oldest does and the wife. Feel free to call me anytime ———– Thanks

Hi Gerry!
Thanks for responding so quickly. I really appreciate it.  It’s good to hear that this piano has nice key action.  I’d hate to get the piano back to my house, only to realize that the key action is less than superb.  What kind of music does your wife like to play?  I took to Classical at a young age, but now I mainly cover Bruce Hornsby songs.  Specifically, from his catalog before 1998, the year he formed the Noise Makers.  $800 is a fairly sizable amount of money.  Any chance you’d be willing to make a part-trade?  I think I have a picture of my grandmother, if you’d like to see it.  Hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks,
RP

How much do you think you can afford? What are you talking in trade? Though to be honest really would Rather try and keep this a cash deal. I will keep an open mind at this point. Let me know. Thanks,

Gerry,
I have lots of miscellaneous items I’m looking to get rid of, including: a complete set of flat-head screwdrivers, a digital alarm clock that can replicate the sound of a stiff ocean breeze,  6 matching coffee mugs, a high-speed toaster oven, a tee-shirt that says “Life’s a Beach”, and a piano.  Does any of this interest you?
Also, I wasn’t sure if you wanted to see a picture of my grandmother.  I couldn’t find one on my computer, so I attached a caricature drawing I made of her on MS Paint.  She’s vacuuming in the drawing.
Talk to you soon.

Thanks,
RP

Not interested in any of the items you listed. So, if you are serious about the piano then lets cut to the chase. How reasonable an offer are you open to paying?

Gerry,
Since you are not interested in any of the items I listed, I am no longer interested in the piano.  I hope that we can remain friends.

Thanks,
RP

You’re too funny.

I wish I could find a piano at that amount.
