Hello there,
I see that you have lost your cow. There’s a good chance I may have found her. Please write me back as soon as you can.

Hello,
Do you think it would be all right if I just kept the cow? It seems to be very content. I’m not sure the cow even belongs to your neighbor. And, I get a lot of stray cows passing through. Should I send you a picture of it so you can verify its identity?
Thanks,
RP

Hi!
Unfortunately, I don’t think I have your neighbor’s cow. Subsequently, I have not contacted him. Though, I suppose I could call him just to chat. He seems like a nice guy!
Thanks,
RP

Greetings! As it turns out, what I thought might have been your neighbor’s cow is actually a large dog. I named him Lenny. I am truly sorry for the mix-up. I hope we can “moo”ve on and be friends.
Thanks,
RP
