Kim,
That’s terrific! Do you have any idea how much weight the top bunk can sustain?
Thanks,
RP

We had a 13 yr old sleep on the top bunk for a couple of days and it worked fine. It’s really sturdy. If you would like to stop by and check it out, that would be fine.

Kim,
Thanks for getting back to me. My wife and I decided to redesign our bedroom to allow for more space. Subsequently, we’ve chosen to donate our King Size bed to the neighborhood Goodwill, and purchase Bunk Beds. My wife, who is quite youthful at heart, desperately wants the top bunk. Last time we checked, however, she weighed 479 pounds. (Though, in her defense, she was wearing shoes). I probably shouldn’t divulge such personal information, but it’s important for you to know if we’re going to purchase your Bunk Bed set. Plus, if I do stop by and check it out, I’d like to bring my wife, so she can give it a test drive. Would that be possible? We’re available most any evening. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
RP

Hi Randy,
You are funny!
Im not sure if it would hold 479 pounds but you can definitely come by and take a look.

Hi Kim,
Well, like I said, she was wearing shoes last time we checked her weight. So, it’s safe to assume that 479 isn’t precise. I probably should have mentioned that she’s in a wheelchair, so I’ll have to build a ramp from the floor to her bed. If I do come by and take a look, I’ll need to take some measurements. And, I’m prepared to reimburse you if we discover that the top bed will not sustain my wife’s frame. When should we come over? Do you have any pets?
Thanks,
RP

Hi Randy,
I checked with my husband and these beds are not constructed for adult weight. Sorry, hope you will be able to find a better set.
