Hello Devin,
Pleased to make your acquaintance. I obtained your business card from that little area where the lovely young girls stand as you enter ——-. They all seem very friendly, and greet everyone with such gusto! Certainly, a far cry from those old ladies that hardly crack a smile when you walk into Wal-Mart. I find that Costco is the same way. It makes for a very frosty atmosphere.
I’d like to inquire about the banquet facility that sits atop ——-. Several of my companions have rented the room out for a night, and have described it as more than delightful. I’m hoping that you’ll be able to accommodate my needs. My wife, Lolita, is turning 47, and I intend on throwing her the birthday party of a lifetime. Lolita was born in Guadalajara, and immigrated here to start a small Mexican grocery. About 10 years ago, she sold me some Ecuadorian plantains, and I knew, right then, that she would be my wife.
I’d like the party to include elements of everything that is dear to her. Authentic Mexican fare is a must. Her grandfather (yes, he is still alive), will be visiting from Mexico City, and eats strictly refried beans and tamales. Lolita loves animals, almost as much as she loves me! I’d like to bring in a temporary petting zoo, for Lolita, and the children in the family. I don’t intend for it to be too ostentatious. Just a couple of Alpacas, a miniature horse, and perhaps a few chickens. I’ll need to lay some hay on the ground, so the animals can graze. Also, the hay acts as a kind of cushion, and helps collect any animal droppings. And of course, I’ll have to string up a pinata.
I still need to work out some of the details, but Lolita’s birthday is in May. Please let me know when you might be able to discuss this in further detail.
P.S. I’m quite certain I left some purple leggings in the men’s restroom. Have you seen them in the lost and found?
Thanks,
RP
